“One thing I have always admired about Jami Hewlett is her relentless commitment to finding the truth. Jami asks the questions other people are afraid to ask. And when something doesn’t add up, she doesn’t just shrug her shoulders and move on—she keeps digging until she gets answers. That kind of courage and persistence is rare anywhere, but it is especially rare in politics. And she has taken a LOT of heat for it. Criticism. Pushback. Personal attacks. You name it. Yet Jami keeps showing up. She keeps asking questions. She keeps standing up for what she believes is right, even when doing so would be much harder than simply going along to get along. That says a lot about a person.

Jami follows her own compass. She isn’t afraid to rock the boat, challenge powerful people, or make things uncomfortable when she believes the public deserves answers. And I have never believed she does it for a title, political connections, or personal gain. She does it because she genuinely gives a damn about this community and the people who call it home.

More importantly, she was doing this long before her name was ever on a ballot. You don’t have to agree with someone on absolutely everything to recognize courage, conviction, and authenticity when you see it. It takes guts to stand your ground when falling in line would be easier. It takes even more guts to keep standing when people come after you for doing it.

I have tremendous respect for that kind of fire. Politics could use a whole lot more of it.”

“Jami is breathtakingly beautiful and classy and intelligent——- all at the same time—— that is hard enough to balance, but she doesn’t have to as she does it effortlessly. I collect rarities and art. Jami Is both.” ~~ Brendon Breen

“Jami Hewlett is a dream candidate. She is truly for the people—not the fat cats. Jami will fight to keep taxes low, hold government accountable to the people it serves, and fight like heck to protect the natural beauty and open spaces of the Wasatch Back. After more than 30 years of grassroots activism in Utah—including fighting for both the First and Second Amendments and winning court cases defending those rights—I’ve learned to recognize the real deal when I see it. Jami grabbed my attention because of her genuine passion for preserving our precious open spaces. I’ve spent years fighting to protect open space in Salt Lake County, and I know how important that fight is. Open space is good for the soul, good for families, and good for communities. Jami Hewlett will be good for Wasatch County. She has the passion, courage, and determination to stand up for the people—and that’s exactly the kind of person we need in office.” ~~ Janalee Tobias

“I just want you to know that I had given up on voting because everything seems rigged and nothing ever changes. Last week I checked online to see if I am still registered to VOTE - only because I want to write YOU in and TRY one more time to have a little hope that good things can still happen. Thank you for standing for WE THE PEOPLE!” ~~ Lori

“I just found Jami Hewlett today! I watched many clips from the Storm Summit and I find her to be very courageous, moral and a sincere woman. Jami will truly look our for the community and people’s rights. Unfortunately I live in Cedar City and I cannot vote for Jami but I am keeping her on my prayer list and in the Temple Prayer roll!” -Rayonna Hale

“As the campaign heats up toward the actual election day, I want to remind everyone that Jami’s instincts for what needs to get done in Wasatch County are exceptional. She has an excellent grasp on the details of our many serious concerns, and her determination to do what’s right for the conservative voice is top drawer. The alternative candidates are still sitting in the chocks, while Jami is at Mach Two!!” ~~ Brett Vance

“Hi Jami. I saw you mentioned you’d been removed from every local Heber page on one of your posts recently (I’ve been reading most of your posts and think you’re probably what Wasatch has needed for quite a while). I believe I was likely the admin who denied your request to join a page at one point, because I was foolish enough to believe the narrative from all the folks in “the club,” and I’m sure you know what I mean by that, when they were stirring up all that drama and doing their best to make you look bad. Hindsight is usually 20/20 and I owe you an apology. I never should have believed the narrative going around in the first place, I know better than to be a sheep and generally am not, not to mention the general distrust of the aforementioned “club.” Again, I apologize for not giving you a chance before, and for passing judgement that was not mine to pass. I was wrong. I hope you join the page and I wish you all the luck in your campaign and efforts to make positive changes for my home town.” ~~~ Admin Local Page
