EXPERIENCE
Jami Hewlett for Wasatch County Council Seat A
A Broad Background.
A Proven Commitment to the People.
Jami Hewlett brings decades of real-world experience in business ownership, communications, land use laws, management, marketing, community planning, and public advocacy.
She holds degrees in advertising, public relations, and business management. Throughout her career, she has managed national projects, operated small businesses, overseen budgets and properties, worked with clients from every walk of life, and helped local businesses grow.
But Jami’s most important experience comes from standing beside the people of Wasatch County.
She has served on the Heber City Planning Commission, participated in long-range community planning, researched government records, attended public meetings, and worked to make complicated government decisions understandable to the public.
When residents were being ignored, Jami didn’t simply complain—she organized.
She has also organized and participated in several referendum efforts because she believes major decisions belong in the hands of the people—not just politicians, developers, or special interests.
Jami knows how to bring people together, organize a community effort, examine contracts and budgets, ask difficult questions, and continue working when the system pushes back.
Her background is extensive, but her purpose is simple:
Make sure the people have a voice and a choice.
Jami is not a career politician. She is a seventh-generation Wasatch County resident, mother, grandmother, business owner, taxpayer, and proven community advocate.
She has already been doing the work. Now she is ready to put that experience to work for all of Wasatch County.
